Michel has a broad experience in the field of library & information science. More than 20 years ago he started as Head of Automation and IT at the National Library of the Netherlands. Since then he has been active in the strategic positioning of information in the business. Besides his work as Head of Library and IT, he is also the President of the Dutch Library Association, where he helps improving the profile of librarians so that librarians are well prepared for the future.

Richard works as independent consultant. The aim of his services is to enhance clients with tools and processes that improve the flow of information and knowledge. He works on various projects. From teaching KM at the Hague University in the Netherlands, to promoting a new way of working in the domain of international development cooperation – through the community site www.focuss.info – by applying the latest information sharing and collaboration tools (social media tools). |
